Join us at the store on **January 25, 2024** at 7pm for a reading featuring poets Adrienne Chung & Lisbeth White! 

Adrienne Chung is the author of Organs of Little Importance (Penguin 2023), a winner of the National Poetry Series. Her poetry and prose have appeared in The Yale Review, Joyland, Diagram, and elsewhere. A recipient of fellowships from MacDowell and the Wisconsin Institute for Creative Writing, she teaches at the Berlin Writers’ Workshop and is an editor at Sand Journal.

 

Lisbeth White is a writer and ritualist living on S’klallam and Chimacum lands near Port Townsend, WA. Her writing ethos orients at the crossroads of healing justice, ancestry, mythopoetics and earth-centered existence beyond the confines of late stage capitalism. She is the author of American Sycamore (Perugia Press, 2022) and co-editor, along with Tamiko Beyer and Destiny Hemphill, of the anthology Poetry as Spellcasting: Poems, Essays, and Prompts for Manifesting Liberation and Reclaiming Power (North Atlantic Books, 2023). She has received support for her writing from VONA, Artist’s Trust, Tin House, Bread Loaf Environmental Writers Conference, and Blue Mountain Center and offers support for PGM writers in rural Washington state as a founding member of the Red Thread Writers Collective.
