Lena Khalaf Tuffaha is a poet, essayist, translator and teaching artist. She is the author of three books of poetry, Water & Salt (Red Hen), winner of the 2018 Washington State Book Award, Kaan and Her Sisters (Trio House, 2023), and Something About Living, winner of the 2022 Akron Prize for Poetry, forthcoming in 2024. Her work has been published in journals including Adroit, Michigan Quarterly Review, the Nation, and New England Review.
