Goals of Ramadan 2026  

Water: Buy Desalination Plant ($180,000)  

Food: 100,000 meals for camps ($800,000)

Parcels: 5,000 Ramadan Packages ($200,000)

• Water Desalination Plant: The Prophet Mohammad pbuh said: “There is no charity that brings a greater reward than water.” The Sameer Project provided over 53 million liters of water in 1.5 years but now we would like to purchase our own desalination plant that will significantly lower costs for us. The plant is and all its parts are inside Gaza, we will not bring anything from outside of the Strip. This water plant will reduce the price of the water by 60%, which means we can provide more water for less money. The plant we want to purchase produces approximately 280,000 liters per day and costs around $180,000.
• 100,000 meals: Our goal is to feed 100,000 people for iftar, cooked in our own kitchen, throughout Ramadan in various displacement camps across the Gaza Strip. Each meal consists of 500 grams of rice and 250 grams of meat, 3 dates, bowl of soup, small bottle of water (250 ml). Cost per meal is around $8 / £6. So the total for 100,000 meals would be $800,000 / £600,000.
• 5,000 Ramadan Packages: In preparation for Ramadan, we will provide 2,500 packages with kitchen utensils for $118,750 and another 2,500 packages with Ramadan food staples for $80,000. So a total of $198,750.
• • Ramadan Kitchen Package ($47.50): Coffee pot ($5.65), a set of 12 espresso coffee cups ($6.30), 12 spoons ($3.15), a kilo of plates ($11), 6 tea cups ($7.10), water container ($3.15), large plastic bowl with cover ($7.90) & small plastic bowl ($3.15).
  • Ramadan Cooking Package ($32): 2 kilos of long-grain rice ($2.05), 2 cans of foul/ beans ($0.60), 1 liter of cooking oil ($2.40), 3 packs of different types of cheese ($7.30), 2 tomato sauce cans ($0.30), 450 grams of tahini ($2.20), 1 liter of olive oil ($7.90), 1 can of ghee ($2.45), 1 kilo of dates ($2.85), 1 pack of pasta ($0.95), 1 pack of spaghetti ($0.95), 1 kilo of sugar  ($1.05) & 1 kilo of orzo ($0.95).

All prices mentioned are WITHOUT commission because this is a zakat eligible campaign. Also prices in Gaza fluctuate according to what the military occupation allows in, so prices might change slightly and the final prices will be documented in our updates. Chuffed takes a Stipe processing fee from each doantion, but again we cover all fees and commissons from our general pot for this campaign.
