Laina's Rose Fear is a read that, on my first completion of it, I knew I would be reading it again and again. The pages are full of terrific images and echoes of intimacy. When I speak of the quaking turmoil of home, I now think of Laina's words. When I imagine the interstices of grief and its resonant network, like dominoes, of minor cataclysms, I think of Laina. I think it's a disjustice to ramble too long on all of the positives that Laina has to offer in Rose Fear, as it would only serve to take more time away from its pages.
